NGP is pleased to present the latest in upgrades for both the 2.0T FSI and TSI engines from APR: Forged Pistons and Rods for the EA113 FSI, and Forged Pistons and Rods for the EA888 TSI.
Those of you familiar with APR’s turbocharger kits such as the Stage III+ and Stage 4 know that increasing boost levels far above factory levels adds much more stress to the internal components of the engine. To counter these additional stresses, APR has worked with several US and German manufacturers to create new rods and pistons specifically designed to meet the needs of high horsepower 2.0T motors. In addition to the newly designed pistons and rods, APR also offers an assortment of optional upgrades such as Mahle Motorsport VP2 Bearings and German Steel Tool Wristpins as well as complete installation kits for either engine type.
