034 Motorsports has released their X34 Carbon Fiber Intake system for all MQB-platform vehicles, and we’re happy to announce that it’s now available at NGP! Featuring a one-piece design from air box to turbo inlet and a 4″ cone filter, 034 Motorsport’s intake is designed like no other on the market. Its gorgeous carbon fiber weave was chosen not only for its superior strength and heat transferability, it also pays homage to the engine bay trim found in Audi’s RS models. We recently fitted this intake to our Project Mk7 Golf R and are very impressed with the quality of the kit, which utilizes the bottom half of the factory air box. Right away our Golf R’s throttle felt more responsive and we believe it when 034 Motorsport claims a 7whp and 10ft-lbs gain over the stock air box.
