We offer several tiers of LIQUI MOLY oil change services at our shops. Each tier of service includes extra additives and services that are designed to improve the lifespan of your engine. The information below will help you select the LIQUI MOLY oil change service that is right for your vehicle and its specific needs.
Bronze: Basic Oil Change Service
This service is fairly self-explanatory. We drain your existing oil and replace it with high quality LIQUI MOLY oil matching the requirements of your engine. The oil filter is also replaced with a high quality German brand filter (typically MANN, Hengst, Mahle or Genuine Audi/VW).
Silver: Oil Change Service and Engine Flush Service
This oil change service adds LIQUI MOLY’s Pro-Line Engine Flush.
LIQUI MOLY Pro-Line Engine Flush Benefits:
- Removes deposits and residues
- Dissolves sludge and lacquer contaminants
- Improves the combustion process and restores full engine performance
- Prevents corrosion of unprotected metal surfaces
- Recovers oil lubricating properties
Gold: Oil Change Service, Engine Flush Service and Fuel Treatment
This oil change service adds a LIQUI MOLY fuel treatment additive, dependent on whether you have a gasoline or diesel engine.
LIQUI MOLY Gasoline System Cleaner Benefits:
- Removes deposits on injection valves, intake valves*, spark plugs and in the combustion chamber and prevents them from reforming
- Improves engine running and optimizes the exhaust gas values
- Eliminates starting problems and rough engine running
- Maintains and protects the entire fuel system from wear, deposits and corrosion
LIQUI MOLY Super Diesel Additive Benefits:
- Prevents corrosion, increases lubrication thus reduces fuel pump and injector wear
- Increases Cetane value for improved engine performance, easier starting and lower emissions
- Regular use keeps the fuel system in perfect working order
Platinum: Oil Change Service, Engine Flush Service, Fuel Treatment and Oil Treatment
This oil change service adds the LIQUI MOLY oil treatment additive of your choice. We offer either MoS2 or Cera Tec oil system additives with this service.
LIQUI MOLY MoS2 Anti-Friction Treatment Benefits:
- Ensures immediate friction and wear reduction
- Adds an extremely protective and pressure-resistant boundary layer with low friction and lubricates during cold starts to prevent damage from lack of oil
- Contributes to lower fuel consumption, longer engine life and less noise
LIQUI MOLY Cera Tec Benefits:
- Reduces friction and wear due to ceramic compounds that withstand extremely high chemical and thermal loads
- Prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, thus increasing the engine service life
- The low-friction effect reduces fuel consumption in gasoline and diesel engines
It’s important to note that while both of these additives perform a similar function, there are some slight differences:
Cera Tec applies a highly advanced ceramic compound to the various metal surfaces of your engine. This essentially can “fill the gaps” in imperfections and wear present in the metal of your cylinder walls. This has many benefits including improved compression. If your engine has never had a Cera Tec treatment, we recommend having it added, then replaced at intervals of once per year, or around 20-30,000 miles, whichever comes first.
MoS2 creates an anti-friction film that allows for more freely moving mechanical parts, such as timing chain components. MoS2 can be added with any oil change service as long as you don’t currently have Cera Tec in your oil system.
