It’s almost time to go racing again! The 2022 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season kicks off in Daytona later this month, but before the green flag waves on this season, we are headed to the Roar Before the Rolex 24 January 21-23 for a long weekend of pre-season testing with our Audi RS 3 TCR racer.
“The Roar” isn’t just a three-day test session, it also includes the first two races of the new IMSA season. The IMSA Prototype Challenge series takes to the track first for a 3hr race to start their season. That is followed by a qualifying race to set the lineup for the 60th Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The Roar is open to fans and spectators. It is a free event for Rolex 24 2- and 4-day ticket holders, or you can purchase single-day tickets here.
The official start to our season happens on Friday, January 25th, with the 4-hour BMW M Endurance Challenge. The green flag waves at 1:35 pm EST on the 25th, be on the lookout for a Ways to Watch email as we get closer to race day.
